This page explains how I research, write, and maintain the content on Business Hub Pulse, so you know what to expect from anything you read here.

Sourcing Standards

I research each topic before writing about it, using publicly available information, official guidance, and my own professional background in AdTech and publisher operations, and in accounting and auditing, where relevant. When I reference a specific claim, statistic, or third-party tool, I try to link to the original source or describe it accurately rather than paraphrasing loosely. I don’t fabricate statistics, quotations, case studies, client stories, or credentials, and I don’t present a personal opinion as if it were an established fact.

First-Hand Experience

Where an article draws on my own professional experience, that experience is real and specific to my background, not invented to make a piece feel more personal. I don’t claim direct experience with situations I haven’t actually encountered, and I don’t imply credentials I don’t hold, such as being a CPA, attorney, or licensed financial adviser.

Fact-Checking

Before publishing, I check factual claims against reliable, current sources. Business and finance topics change, so I aim to revisit older articles periodically rather than leaving outdated guidance live indefinitely. If I’m not confident a claim is accurate, I either verify it properly or leave it out.

Editorial Process

Every article follows the same process: I research the topic using primary and authoritative sources, write the draft myself, verify every fact, statistic, and claim against its original source, and edit the piece for clarity and accuracy before publication. Articles are revisited and updated when the information they cover changes. I use standard writing, editing, and research tools as part of this process, but final editorial judgment, fact-checking, and the decision to publish are mine alone.

Conflicts of Interest and Affiliate Disclosure

Business Hub Pulse does not currently have any affiliate relationships, sponsorships, or paid placements. If that changes in the future, I’ll disclose it clearly on the relevant page or article, in line with standard disclosure practices.

Updates and Review

I review and update articles when I become aware that information has changed or become outdated. When I make a material change to an article, I note the updated date. Minor edits, such as fixing typos or broken links, may not be separately flagged. See the Corrections Policy for how I handle factual errors specifically.
